Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 21 6:06 am)
I loaded my free ruler for comparison and low and behold it measures correctly.
To be honest I think his prop is much nicer, though mine does have quarter inch markings.
Another tip is to use a camera that doesn't use focal settings when making measurments. Use the front camera or top camera to avoid perspective errors.
Thanks Roy.
BTW - If you change the "Scale" of the 12 foot prop to 8.333333%, it becomes a 1 foot scale and you can measure down to 1/12 of an inch.
Just thought you'd like to know. :o)

BTW #2 - Roy is exactly correct! One should NEVER use any camera except the orthogonal,(i.e., front, left, right, etc.) cameras or errors can occur due to the parallax effect. Do NOT use the "Main," "Face," "Posing," etc. cameras or you can get measurement errors. Thanks for pointing that out, Roy.
