ok, maybe this is a stupid question... sounds kinda stupid as i write it, but, anyways... when you make your thumbnails, do you more often use just a portion of the whole, or do you just size down the large..? i'm trying to decide... thinking i like not having the whole image up there, but maybe that's annoying to some people...? ...penny

I often try out both... Sizing down sometimes looks really bad. Then I search for a good part of the image and work with it...

I feel like such a 'duh' lol. I never even considered doing this, I've noticed occasionally that the large image didn't really look like the thumbnail. It didn't annoy me at all, just surprised me a little, now I know why. You probably have guessed that I'm new to photo editing!
