My last message was inundated under piles of Poser 5 queries, so I'll try again. I'm using the boots available at Animotions for Vicky, but the figures are locked and can't be unlocked by conventional means (i.e. pressing the Lock Actor choice to uncheck it -- it won't uncheck). I tried setting the parent to the Universe, but that didn't work, and the Change parent option is unavailable. Any other suggestions? Mike

I don't know the files, so this is a guess. Are you sure they're props and not conforming clothing? That might explain the unavailablility of Change Parent. You could also look at Point At and see where that's going.

They're conforming clothing figures. I didn't see a Point At dial. I'll have to look again. Mike

point at is not a dial it.s in the object menue at the top fo the screen

Yes, but choosing "Point At" creates a dial in the object's parameters that is labeled "Point At." If there is no "Point At" dial, than the problem is not the Point At command. I suspect there's something in the .cr2 but don't know enough about changing such things. Mike

there's a "lock figure" option on one of the menus that's separate from the lock actor option.
