I would like to propose a STANDARD for "real world" measurements for Poser 4 and below.(but NOT P5) The standard is: 0.010 pnu (poser native units) (the numerical value on the parameter dials) = 1 inch I have created a "Scale" prop that is based on this "standard." This allows you to very accurately measure anything in the studio to 1/10 of an inch accuracy. The prop is FREE! If you would like to have one, just email me (see pic). cheers, dr geep ;=]

Doc, Not sure what led you to this particular number. (Not saying that it isn't swell...) But I think you were dead-on when you suggested CL made a tiny typo in the program. I don't think they meant for Posrland to be a world of giants. Have you informed them of the obviously incorrect scale? They could fix this in a patch and then we could all actually use the numbers built in to Poser, which would be a lot easier. Thanks for doing all these calculations. Phoenix

Yes, I emailed them and, rather than try to repeat all that was discussed, I suggested that they refer to the other thread where this subject was discussed in depth. I suspect CL is pretty busy right now (with P5) so I do not expect any response in the near future. I'll stay tuned. cheers, dr geep ;=]
