Fractals F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 13 3:03 pm)
I just received my first posting error, picture was too big, so I had to figure out how to shrink it. I think this one worked. It may be smaller than it really is. It's true size is 9 x 14<<<< Sounds like your used to working in print (ie. 9 x 14). I'm assuming inches?? Separate print thought and monitor display thought. Render your pics at full dimensions/resolutions as if you wanted to print them (if that's what you do intend), but then definitely downsize them if you plan to display on the web. Save the two (or more) different versions under separate file names. For web display purposes, think pixel dimensions only, at basic monitor resolution (ie. 72/75 pixels per inch). Any higher resolution is wasted, as your pic will only be seen on monitors. If you have Photoshop there should be a 'File-Save for Web' option, or you can manually adjust the image size using the "Image" menu dropdowns. Interaction between UF3 and Photoshop?--another question that a UF3 user will have to tackle.
