Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 03 12:46 am)
sounds like the obj files have gone walkies, open the cr2 file in your favourite text editor, about the 3rd-4th line down is the path to the obj, if the obj file isn't in the directory mentioned you'll need to either move it to the directory or change the path in the cr2 to match the directory it's sitting in
If you've done both of those things and you still get "you are out of memory" message, it could be that the *.rsr in the geometry is corrupt. Just delete the one from the proper geometry folder -- NOT the one from the figure library. If that is the problem, the item should load okay next time, and Poser will take it upon itself to create a new rsr for the geometry :-)

Hi, I have Poser 4, and just recently have been having trouble when trying to use, say, Sergmarks stuff, I keep getting "Violation in C: blah blah blah," or "you're out of memory", this may seem a tired problem for you experts lol, but I'm nowhere near that quality! How do I remedy this ( apart from not using Serge) Jilly
