The sketch renderer really doesn't do a good job for cartoon-like images.......just use the cartoon mode, no textures, change the body part colors to accentuate them (cartoon mode washes out colors), adjust the lights, and position the figure so that the lights cast shadows that look like cartoon shadows....it's a lot of work but I've done it successfully.......I've even created a drawn outline look that is pretty good..... Well...I created a model of myself and I wanted to give it a cartoonish look...so I've been using the sketch render function to make it look that way, but it's not working out the way I thought it would. I've tried playing with the lights and stuff...it didn't help a whole lot, and to make matters worse, all of the lines in the character are being highlighted, which makes things look really stupid. It even happens when I'm using cartoons without lines mode. So does anyone have any tips for giving a character that kind of comic book/cartoon look, and for eliminating those lines? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
