Just made my first attempt at morphing in Rhino.. Figured making pointy ears wouldn't be too hard.. well, you can see the result. =( I just wanted to say I have a newfound respect (not that I lacked it before) for Trav and the other morph masters. I don't know how you guys manage to work with all those vertices.. Well, here's hoping I get better. =) Rosh

Hey looks good. My first morphs with rhino doesn't look so good. Do you use the rhino-plugin OBJto3DM ? SHARKEY

Yeah, that's how I got her in there. What I'm not happy with is the broken mesh I ended up with.. and with that bump on the rim of her ear.. I don't have the patience or skill to work vertex by vertex, and selecting en-masse doesn't give me the control I need.. besides, it's hard to see what point you've got in that cloud of them... I can just imagine how scary Millie is.. =) Rosh

I just use magnets and the grouping tool to select specific vertices for my morphs. It does require a LOT of patience.

Amorphium makes it much easier to avoid the broken mesh (you can see it right away) and you work with a shaded model. It isn't as precise as Rhino though, but give it a try (it was Travelers tool of choice until he got into Rhino). -Jim

I would, but I've already got Rhino, and I have no idea where I could get Amorphium (and doubt I could afford it).. I'll figure out Rhino eventually.. I'm already getting better at modelling. Morphing shouldn't be too far behind. =) Rosh
