Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 10 10:34 am)
You can achieve this effect in Poser 5 with a combination of Ambient settings and texture maps.
First, we try it without special textures, by setting the Ambient colours of the iris to white and the pupil to blue, and then setting the Ambient Value to 1. The eyeball itself has a Diffuse colour of black, and no ambient value, as that part shouldn't glow. As you can see above, the eyes are nice and bright, even in shadow, but it doesn't have the mechanical appearance you're looking for.

Setting the ambient color to white and the level to anything above .1 yeilds for the irises undesireable results. anybody have TUT on this or a link. Would like to get a glowing effect similar to this one especially in the shadowed area.. THX
