Hello. I've been having problems adding textures to certain clothing characters such as the Vicky Bikini bottom or other similar objects. When I add a texture and render, all I get is a more transparent version of the same thing. I've added textures to other things such as the catsuit and it has worked fine but not on the bikini bottom for some reason. Any suggestions?

"all I get is a more transparent version of the same thing." Not sure I understood that part. What are you getting? - Have you looked at the bikini bottom UV template to be sure that the texture you are applying actually covers the part of the UV layout where the bikini is located?

are you using poser 4 or 5? Did you make the texture or just putting a new texture for the item in poser?

I'm using poser 4. What I meant by the "more transparent of the same thing" was that all I get is a semi transparent bikini bottom rather than one with texture on it. The texture is one that I got off the free stuff section under vicky/millie. I can't send a picture at the moment but I'll try when I get a chance. Thanx a bunch!

are your transparency dials on in the materials menu? it might have something to do with that. If it is, try turning the min/max to 0. Are you sure the texture is for the same bikini you are using?

Well that's the what the texture says it's for. Yeah I've messed with the dial and everything. I've tried other textures too with no result. It seems that I can never get any texture to work with either the vicky bikini bottom or the p4 female clothing bikini bottom. I don't know why.

did you check to see if there are any updates for the bikini? did you apply the curious labs poser patch? otherwise i'm pretty stumped on that one, I've never tried the bikini before.
