That's interesting. Something you might consider would be leaving the hair mostly down and slicked back as though still wet. While I do have a friend whose hair looks similar to your image after getting wet, her hair has an unusually tight curl to it. Most people's hair would remain in wet strands. Try doing your animation again with the hair starting out long and very straight. That might help take the friz out of the image and make it look a bit more natural.
Hi thanks for the input :) and the vert tight curl is what i was going for :) should have postd the prevue as well :) the render looks straight and frized this is true :) wasmainly trying to show that the colision was working in that the hair lifted and pushed forward by her hands. but for sure the coments are right. Smiles thanks aleks for being honist in your feelings of the post :) can defenitly understand being a bit gun shy with things as they have been latly. I should have been a bit more exspliced in what i was showing here. do need to get it to flaten out and more bunched like the previue looks tight curled dredlock almost but this render shure didnt show them. Laters Vel :)
Man Hair collision detection is still basically useless. It just goes nuts when I use it. I've not yet decided if I'm gonna use Dynamic hair in My animation project... (I'm still experimenting.) But if I do, I'll probably just Turn collision off and use the "Dynamic strength" (IIRC) dial to keep the bangs from intersecting with the head and stuff. You know turn it up a little as it swings away from the head and down when it comes back. CL, I have not complained much at all since getting P5, but the Hair collision NEEDS to be fixed!

well im getting used to the sim now and getting desent results. the pic is the girl fluffing her hair after a refreshing swim to dry it :) use colision and 15 sceen animation to move the hands into the hair and lift and push it it worked for the most part :) Laters Vel
