Description

- Giant Sequoia, Yosemite National Park - Not my best picture of the grove, but the one that best puts you there. Being in a grove of living things that have seen thousands of years and have no equal in sheer size really causes one to revisit the meaning of "significance" and "insignificance." As for the majesty of the Sequoias and Yosemite as a whole, I don't have the words to express it. I simply do the best I can with images.

That perspective is simply amazing... I haven't been there since I was 4 yrs old... and your picture makes it look exactly the same :)

I love the perspective in this shot! My grandma went there for vacation a few years ago and took some pictures, but this one really does the majesty of the trees a great deal more justice!

One of my favorite places to go in California was the Redwood Forest. The trees are so majestic and immense to stand among them and look up is almost humbling. This is a gorgeous shot!

Well your images are very expressive and this lil brat didn't mean to ever imply otherwise. HUGE HUGS Man it must have been like being in one of God's first gardens.
