- Lembert Dome, Yosemite National Park -
Clinging to only rock and sand, two pines struggle to grow
Hoping to reach their maturity and the beauty of the old pines around them
Clinging to only rock, climbers struggle to summit the dome
Hoping to rediscover their youth and the beauty of thousands of years

You can see climbers on the dome.
The easiest to spot is silhoutted against the sky near the middle of the image.
Two others can be seen lower and to the right, framed by the pine trees.
Lembert Dome "only" reaches to about 900 feet and is considered a relatively easy climb.
Half Dome's little brother.
Rumor is El Capitan has been known to pick on Lembert when no one is looking.
But don't tell Lembert, he looks pretty proud to me.
