Description

Of the many Emerald Bay photos I have (dozens and dozens), this one is a capture completely unlike any of the others. Normally, I use Kodak Royal Gold 100 or Kodak's new VC160 film for my nature shots. I typically use Kodak E200 for my astronomy photos. Well, this shot is with the E200 using an old Pentax K1000 (normally my astro photo camera as well) along with a 75-205mm lens at 205 f/5.6. I'm thrilled with this shot and the color produced. For some info on the island and the small structure atop it, see my previous post (in my gallery). Thanks for all the wonderful comments.

Ok! This would be a great place in the month of August to hang out all night and veiw the Persieds and other celestial objects with YOUR telescope. Whew! If I was twenty years younger without as much responsibility I woul be there for sure. Great shot! KP
