Description

I took this shot several years ago and have often thought of posting it, and have finally gottend around to doing it! This is a Jeffery Pine tree in the Lake Tahoe region on a hike to one of the small lakes in the area. These trees can grow magnificent hights and stature. Even the oldest ones that have long been dead have a magestic aire about them. Thanks for looking :-)

I can smell the pine now. Love those trees. Very blue skies too! The perseids were pretty good this year. I went out with family and friends to Death Valley and layed out on air mattresses in about 75-80 degrees all night. It's a beautiful way see them. Hope all is well. Looking forward to a few more scope pics in the future. Thanks for sharing. KP
