Fortunately the clipper approached us a little and now it could be compared with a modern ferry. New meets old.... The difference of centuries in ship-building. Incredible how much technology has been developed to make travel on the water safer and faster! New against old.... What will it be, an easy trip with the ferry or a rough ride on that clipper!? :) Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia II 100, 300 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

outstanding capture of old and new! love the impression and the statement! also the waves you captured here! would be more interesting on a clipper, always to do something and more adventures! ferry is boring and you cannot take a taxi to get off! ;o)

If you want to arrive in style - the clipper is the obvoious choice. Very nice shot where modern day travel is compared to its equivalent from way back.
