Description

Hi everyone. This pic was taken in the garden at Crathes castle,...in Scotland,(lol,no kidding, duh). It's my first macro and I had no idea what I was doing!And...the lil' guy simply would not stay still!!!It also doesn't help that I was petrified of the darn thing.(Please don't tell me he's harmless. To me he's a monster!) I wish he were sharper...sigh.Oh well.I wanted to upload something better for you but I just can't get my head together today!!! :( LOL,hope you like it anyway...And of course,I always appreciate your comments and suggestions.Have a bee-utiful,(I couldn't resist, sigh, what a geek), day,evening,...whatever!-Marlene :)

Bee-utiful day....ROTFLMAO!!!!!!! God, youre such a clever geek then. LOL!!! I love this one. I think its awesome. Ive tried taking bumblebee-shots for soooo long now, but never managed to capture one before it flew off to the next flower. Perfect DOF as well. Yup, truly an excellent macro. Have a bee-utiful day yourself...LOL, soooooo clever!!!! #:O)

What brilliant colour and superb depth of field. I prefer the bee as he is as it adds movement and motion to the image. More dynamic! Quite well done indeed!

I think it's great! The bee is even cute and fuzzy (I'm terrified of them, too!). The flower is so pretty, no wonder he was there. I haven't gotten a really good macro of a bee. I have on in flight that I will upload soon, but who cares about that. I'm blabbering! Great capture!! :)

Bee-eaten by the moving bee.... Know the feeling, bees and bugs move, and sometimes it's best when it's cool and they're moving only slowly!

extreme color in the flower and geting the bee in flight is awesome. I think they sting as other bees, because years ago one got me. it landed on my back of my neck and before I knew what is was, I knocked off with my hand and he got in a sting on my hand. I recovered but he did not

I got sting by one and it was the worse string I ever got. It fly on my leg and got me on my upper leg. the flower is sharp but the movement of the bee you can tell . Which make this very good image

To bee or not to bee...that is Marlene's question? LOL Sorry...had to do it!! LOL Your first macro?? Surely you jest! This is perfect!!! Absolutely, positively perfect in my (newbie) opinion! :-))) I think you got a "twofer" since you have this gorgeously colored flower wrapped around a fuzzy wuzzy monster! :-) It sure is hard taking pics of monsters that move towards you..believe me...I know!! hehehe Excellent hon...Beautiful shot!!! Sorry for the long comment..LOL VOTE
