Sky Giants I by TwoPynts

Can you tell that I love clouds? I'm not saying this is anywhere near as good, but I think it has an Ansel Adams feel to it. Which in turn makes me think of some of the work of Charles (CDBrugg) and his dramatic skies. Be sure to check out some of his mountain landscapes, especially those on the second to last page of his gallery. Wonderful stuff! I'd like to send a big thank you out everyone here on Renderosity. You comments encourage and teach, and your photos/art are an inspiration. I have not had the time to comment as much as I would like lately, but I do try to make it to everyone's galleries eventually so bear with me. Does anyone else wish they had an extra day out of the week to just spend on Renderosity? Just me? Okay then.... ;oP ----- I appreciate you stopping by and for the great comments on yesterday's image, D Sharp.

would be really great with (a bit) more light on the moon - as contrast to the lighted cloud...

What a moody dramatic shot Kortalouche! Those clouds look amazing.A brilliant capture for sure.I see the Ansel Adams like quality you speak of,and part of that is the lovely tones of this.Have a great day!-M :)

I love Ansel Adams' work, and have a book and several prints of them. You are on the way! I'd say you got it really close. Probably only difference is between the development of regular film, and digital, but minor. ;)

Breathtaking!!!!!!! What is it: a volcanic eruption, atomic explosion, apocalypse? On which planet, our earth???? ;-)) GREAT!

Awesome sky - it's hard to escape the vision of the masters, but personally I think this does stand on it's own. Beautiful print.

Magnificent AA class composition! And you're quite right about Charles' work; a dead ringer for AA landscapes.

not a "Moonrise Over Hernandez" because it's not intended to be. it does remind me of that image though. super work dude...love it!! the tonal scale is hot!

The b/w is awesome but I really wish this one had a color version. To me skys are more dramatic in color. B/w is great for dark skys ..stormy skys etc.

This one is a congestus.... Brilliantly captured! About your question: it depends on the weather. If this "extra day out of the week" is a sunny day, I wouldn't spend it on RR... This is for sure!

Yes time, clicking away as I try to catch up like everyone else. I think it is great the way the moon and the clouds work together in this image. Lots of drama here.

Just one day? Id like to order 3 more days and expand them to 35 hours or so...then maybe...just maybe i would manage to fit everything i would like to look at. I love clouds as well, and i especially love your photos of them. This one is really sweet. Is that moon for real? COOOOOL!!! Have a great day Kort #:O)
