Description

Croton Bay Coastline,Northeast Scotland Hi everyone! Here's another shot from my little vacation to Scotland. As I've said before,I am trying my best to bring you as many different and interesting shots of Scotland that I can find.I don't want to bore you!!! This one was taken near a little beach in Croton Bay.I have no idea what this big thingy is OR how it got on top of the bluff I was standing on,but I thought it looked kind of cool,so I took this shot. I am sure it could look better, but right now, ughhh,I am at the mercy of a lappy that shuts itself down for no apparent reason!!!Fortunately this much of my work at least was saved! I so appreciated all your wonderful comments on my last upload,The Passage of Time.I'd really love to know what you think about this one! Please feel free to tell me of any suggestions that may improve it.I so value your opinions! Have a great week everyone and as always, thanks for looking! Marlene P.S.I know it's a lousy title.I welcome your suggestions about that as well!

WOW! Seriously big thingy appears to be a grist mill wheel - my first mental poot was of an enormous Scot pushing this thing around in circles and just waiting for the chance to break loose and slaughter his captors with a claymore :-) uh, too much imagination right - magnificent image that truly sparks the imagination! Bravo!

Superb composition, a masterful landscape. Any suggestions would be to alter it to anothers personal preference so are not really relevant.

Remnants of the great war!? Hmmm. Strange things here. Pity there was no info added here. Perhaps it's the imagination that has to be put at work! Fantastic shot, Marlene!

LOL!I have no idea what that thing is Bb,but I'm sure enjoying 'hearing' everyone's guesses!I'm thinking it probably is a millstone, but how the heck did it get on top of a bluff like that, and why?Who puts a mill on a bluff????I thought mills needed streams and such...-M
