Description
I had so much fun wandering around town looking for antiques and something nostalgic. :-) I took pictures of many items that I will play with and see if any are postable. The funniest thing was that I was walking home when I noticed the barber pole just sitting there staring back at me. hehe
I'd walked right past it on my search; taking it for granted as just an old building that had always been there. Emery's Barber Shop has long been closed but I thought it was interesting that there were still rocking chairs on the old porch.
I would like to submit this photo as my entry to the August Challenge. :-)

Very well done. Often it's the end of the day (shoot) when we find what we want, tho i'm not sure it's accident but that we've sharpened our perceptions with what came before. Phillosophy aside: well done!

Awww..thank you ALL so very much!! :-))) My little barber shop has been a bit of a hit I guess and makes me want to run out and find some more nostalgic things to take pics of...hehe You are all so very kind! :-)))
