Description

"Why can't you ever upload anything without postworking it to death?" Good question. I guess the answer is that I just can't help it. This is about as close as I get to an unworked image. The finess of the seaweed and the stillness of the water in the tidepool was very beautiful but when I looked at the image I realized that you couldn't even see the water, so....a little touch of Flood took care of that. Slight adjustment of hue to make the vein of very light purple rock stand out and here it is. Taken at Mt.Desert Island, Maine.

long time ago you would have to do dark room magic on your image. computors and photoshop made it easy today. I really like that rock and you right about the seaweed it is beautiful looking.

I love the details and the slightly over saturated colors here but that water really looks too fake for me. Other than that, great compo and perfect exposure!

What a beautiful shot! I just love it. The rock looks like a Geode. I am crazy for postwork. It makes the artist own the shot. Really nice.
