"Why can't you ever upload anything without postworking it to death?" Good question. I guess the answer is that I just can't help it. This is about as close as I get to an unworked image. The finess of the seaweed and the stillness of the water in the tidepool was very beautiful but when I looked at the image I realized that you couldn't even see the water, so....a little touch of Flood took care of that. Slight adjustment of hue to make the vein of very light purple rock stand out and here it is. Taken at Mt.Desert Island, Maine.

So here you are! And this is an amazing capture, Jack. I love the colors of the rocks and seaweed..that purple and orange is a stunning combo. The flood effect works beautifully here. Excellent!
