Description
Finding new flowers is always an excitement for me. With 3000 species Switzerland offers a nice variety of plants ranging from subtropical zones to nival zones. A remarkable find is this gentian, schleicher's gentian (Gentiana schleicheri), that appeared to be white in stead of blue. Albino flowers lack the usual pigmentation although I have no clue how that might be caused.
