WooHooo! This is my first render under Windows XP x64.
This was rendered using LightWave 8.3 with the Worley G2 plugin. I adjusted the G2 diffuse value for my skin to match the lighting color without G2. Apparently, depending on how you set the other skin parameters, this can be needed. This was rendered at 2000x2000 with 12 pass antialiasing and then resized. I'm not sure whether the slight graininess of the shadows cast by the hair is rendering noise, or because of the bump. Worley says the best way to smooth it out is to get FPrime...
Thanks for viewing and I love your comments!

Theres a setting called " shading noise reduction" under the Global Illumination section of Lighting properties. Check that and it will smooth noise out in lighting if your using Area lights. Setting area lights to 5 will also alleviate graininess. At the resolution youre rendering 12 pass anti aliasing is probably too much. Hope this was informative...:)

It Still Looks Great! It Looks To Me That The Graininess Is Actually Just The Bump Of The Skin, I Think Worley Was Just Shamelessly Plugging FPrime. 8p Also I Agree With odeone About The AA, I Hear Anything Past Enhanced Medium Is Just Not Worth It. Keep Em Coming!
