Description

There are days of long hikes (and I'm preparing here for one long hike) and there are days of little hikes, like this one here. Just leaving my house and walking into the forest on the mountain behind me I enjoy the exuberant greens of the forest. Tranquillizing for the eye and for the mind, all those green tones! The forest-soil is covered here with horsetails (Equisetum sp.) and I'm fascinated by the horizontal lines caused by them. Oh yes I've seen a place the other day that looked exactly like that, with those fluffy plants on the ground!! I tried to shoot it but I totally suck at landscapes and the fluffiness wasn't even visible! LOL!! U've captured it beautifully, it looks exactly like what I saw!! Beautiful!

This must have been a wonderful sight to behold, particularly if there was a breeze! Horsetails are now considered a weed pest, I'm always having to rip them out of certain areas, but they have really ancient and gigantic height records!

Such a mood... You're right, even during the smallest walks, just a few hundred meters in the nearest fields, we can make marvellous shots... A proof is there!
