Description

Another picture from Lofoten, a group of islands in northern Norway. I wanted to include one more foggy shot before I end the series with three crisp sunny ones. Once again this was shot in the afternoon, when the fog came rolling in from the sea. I have to agree with jcv2 that yesterdays shot (as well as this one) have a bluish cast, but none of my attempts at correcting it gave me a more natural look... so, bluish cast it is:)

Fascinating view of this coast. I don't really notice the bluish cast, that band of fog and those mountains looming right behind it grab all of my attention. Excellent!

with mountains always giving a blue cast and all that pure deep blue water no wonder. still excellent capture as all of this series. the fog does really give an eerie feel

Wow! it's GORGEOUS!!! That's like a LOT of fog!!!! well, i saw yesterday's and yeah, there's a lot of blue and here as well. Too much blue? Not for me. not in yesterday's either. i wouldn't change it. i think it looks great the way it is. Perhaps it was a blue day in nature! could be!! very beautiful capture!

Another stunning capture of Lofoten! Love that lying cloud, verrry beautiful! Bluishness is just what happens in nature, and uv-filters and polarisation-filters only correct little of it, it's just perfectly natural! Excellent work (as always)!
