Description
Modelled in Rhinoceros and rendered with Flamingo.
With 1095 epoxy powdercoated carbon steel for stealth, moulded high-impact plastic handle and full-tang construction, this represents the new generation of knives for military professionals.
Okay, so I made it up. :P
I'm really aiming to improve my lighting and final image processing in particular, so any comments in this regard are highly valued.

There arent quite enough shadows casting themselves under the knife or on the grey surface.

The modelling and renders are great, but since you asked for comments, here they come ;) I'd make the wood grain texture much lighter, a light tan, so it helps contrast sharply with the black knife and draw my attention to the weapon more. Om3g4's comment about the shadows is correct as well. Might want to make the glass/plastic the knife sits on brighter and more white, either in the renderer or photoshop. As is though, it is good :)

looks good to me, just need to play with the brightness and contrast in photoshop or something. Looks like a killer knife and a perfect model.
