Description

Temple Rubbing of Rama and Hanuman Here is a image of Rama carrying The bow Of Lord Shiva and Hanuman ( Monkey God ) Faithful companion of Rama. Originally this was a image I took of a Temple rubbing from Thailand I bought from EBay a few years ago . It was made by taking a sheet of white silk and wetting it with a brush over the image to be rubbed, then allowed to dry. After that you rub the charcoal over it. This ends up giving it a 3D type of look. The original rubbing is in red chalk with a off white back ground. After photographing the image I inversed it in Photoshop and ended up with the Black and Blue image that enhanced the detail to a greater degree. Then I edited out the parts I didn't want and colorized Hanuman a golden color.
