Description

It's great to walk through the forest here, a wide variety of spruces, firs, larches, alpenroses (out of flower) and junipers. The track is level for more than an hour, until a clearing in the forest shows something is changing. Some farms with cattle tell me I'm on the edge of the cultivated world and the track will be exchanged for a little road. I can see the place (Bürchen) where my chalet is situated (if you like, I can try to zoom in on those houses), but fortunately I have the car parked in the next valley. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 80 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

So, we are finally down the slopes where the forest and the greens greet you. Such a contrats to the bleaker mountain slope. The walk down must have been very invigorating. Lovely photograph!

Ridge after ridge in shadow and light, the baldness is behind. Now the shins are tested in decline.

This brings a lovely frisson to my spine, Jan-Carel. Reminds me of an old forest I once walked through, as a child. Regards, John.
