This is a very sad story, Marlene... we all have periods during which we are totally overbooked... but you're right : R'osity is an addiction and one should sometimes take some distance... This is such a sad day for RR, losing one of its most wonderful and talented members. sitting here with tears in my eyes. hard to find words to say. first, i wanna say how much i will miss you here, but i so much understand. it's hard for me to find time to be here. i do wanna tell you how happy i am to have you as my friend. you're a very special person, and i so much wish we could meet face-to-face. one thing i've always felt is that when you look at my images, you REALLY look at them...and somehow you have this amazing insight into them. the other thing i want to tell you is how incredibly special each of your images is. i'm not sure i can articulate...but they're always intense and dynamic....like this one! your photography just keeps getting better and better, Marlene!!! anyway, take the time you need, and i hope you will be back!!! i know we'll all miss you like crazy!!! as for this image...it's about looking down on "home." Hi snos I know exactly what U are talking about :) I can type with all my fingers, but I have an extreamly slow modem....and this autumn I have worked like a maniac, both with music & art....so... sometimes very frustrating not being able to do all what I want...I had to minimalize my activity on RR as well......Hope Im getting the time in december to backtrack U all :D!!! Thanx for all the great laugh U have given me, so far... SUH!!!!! BIG Puss & Kram & take care....see U sweetie ;)

I've seen a number of "airliner views," but never this good. The patchwork quilt below peaking thru the cottonball clouds is so pretty - love the saturated color.
