"Procreation of the Wicked" By David J. Reid aka "Shardz" Software used: Poser 6, Vue 5, Photoshop CS *~* Dedicated To Axeye! *~* Within this community there are so many incredible artists who inspire us with their art, kind support, and wonderful friendship. One could spend a lifetime dedicating images to all the amazing people here, and I wish I had started this venture at age two! LOL! To so many of us, Rob is one of the best in a plethora of aspects; his outstanding art work, kind words and encouragement, and endless help and inspiration! I have visited some rather large galleries where he has attempted, if not succeeded, to make very insightful and wonderful comments on every image. He has helped so many here in a multitude of ways, and it

I think this is too amazing for words! You've made the perfect dedication to someone you've described to a Tee. I'm am beyond impressed and flabbergasted. And I applaud your tenacity. I've done a figure with many arms before and it ain't easy, especially with all those weapons. I bow to you, David!

Well where do I start. I know first hand the blood, sweat, and tears that went into making this absolutely freaking fantastic image. I understand your frustration, but I have to thank you for all the hard work, and many hours you put into this amazing image. I has been a pleasure to view it. To let you know that my eyes are bleeding from reading all of what you said....lmao. But well worth it again. I have to add that the morphing in this render is something to be frustrated at myself for, there is no way I could do it. David thank you for being a sweetie, and for letting the community view your excellent work... Biggest bunny HUGZ ever... Huge Vote From ME,..... wink wink wink...

This is pure magic, and all those arms and weapons... weird!!! Don't let those contest-things get you down, they are not so important as the fact that you still have fun building your fantastic scenes and worlds and share them with us! (And in fact this is the reason that I hesitate spending my time with participating in such things...).

First of all, this is a really wonderful dedication to a fantastic person and friend. Your words about Rob are so right, he really is a caring and wonderful guy :) When it comes to your work, it is absolutely gorgeous, David! The morphs you have done with her is so inredible excellent done, I couldn't have done that even if someone offered me a million to try ;) Your lights, props, the colors and details are marvellous, and you never stop to amaze me with your art. I can truly understand that you are a bit dissapointet of using so much time on a picture, and it did not make the semi-final. I havent' looked at the Halloween contenst at all, maybe I should take a look at the pictures who was there. 90 hours of rendering..I can't believe how you can have the patience to that, but in another way, I am very glad you have, cause I really love to look at your splendid art my friend. I love the way you have combined the color of green and warm orange in this, and your picture here is flawless! Absolutely wonderful work, David! vote and fav ~Hugs from Hedda~ P.S: Now I will take the coffee you are handling out ;) LOL

90 hours? If mine aren't rendered in 10 minutes I get impatient...I dub thee 'Saint' Shardz since you obviously have the patience of one...and I'll be sending Tina to clean up the hair clumps LOL All your hard work and frustration has paid off once again, this is an amazing work and after seeing it in the contest I tried in vain to duplicate the multi-armed figure (not happening) and my appreciation ofyour talents has risen to new heights (nose bleed territory). Your detail is always amazing to me along with your ability to create the most astounding effects and you've really surpassed yourself in this. hugz Rob always manages an encouraging comment on my efforts and I know I'm not alone in saying how much it's appreciated and this is a wonderful dedication.

well, I think that the contest has been a good thing. It got us a posting from Shardz after all. If it hadn't been for the contest, would you have put so much effort into this image? Did you push yourself? Did you learn something? Are you happy with it? If you can answer "yes" to any or all of the above, then don't give a stuff about how it fared. Personally I think it's great and worth all the effort. However, you probably need a faster renderer!

Another one coming? In the same week!?!? Are you sure you are feeling well? LOL! I never liked the idea of contests and your word reassure me that i was right in my beliefs - so i'm sorry for you bad short adventure in contestland, but thank you for sparing me the need to try it first hand! ;) Now.... 90 hours?.... As Jan says, you have loads of patience! But at least it payed off so very well!! Not only a beautiful babe and magic running wild as i've come to expect and wait, but no less than six arms to play with - i've got a bunch of ideas.... hrm... alright - i think i'll keep them to myself for the sanity of onlookers! LOL! I think it turned out wonderful and putting together multi-armed figures is very difficuly to do properly (i tried too... :D) but you did it pretty good, and then there's the usual amazing amount of details to get on when looking at it!! Definitely a top one!! Now you've made me very curious about the other one, however!! ;) And, BTW, a most deserved dedication!!

Well, I used to date a chick like this, and it cost me a fortune in wristwatches and underarm deodorant!!!!!!! LOL!! Seriously, you put 110% into your images and it really shows!!! Your set up is always top notch, and they are always images that I study for a long time before I can take in all the wonderful details!!! Rob is just one of the greatest guys I've met here!! I had no idea that he was in Florida, and I wish him the best!!! EXCELLENT work, Pal!!!

Coffee sounds great but I can't handle caffeine for some reason. Your dedication to your art is truly unimaginable to me but the effort always shows in the details and clarity of your work, both in terms of vision and technique. Great image for the season, even the trees in the background seem menacing. The multiarmed, and armoured, character is a work of art by herself. Brilliant and beautiful work!

This image is totally amazing, David. I don't know how you did all this with the character, but she looks incredible! I love the lighting & all the special effects, and your use of the skulls is marvelous. Fantastic image indeed!! As for Rob, he's such a special friend, so supportive and superbly talented...one of the very best here! A very lovely dedication and a sensational image!!
