Never seen the Matterhorn from that angle. This photo gives a real sense of the enormity of the mountains.

Excellent capture of these mountains. The Matterhorn almost frames the scene on the right side. Anxious to see another pic from a greater elevaion. Suspect then Matterhorn will become even more prominent. I've never seen that mountain from this angle -- Dick

Please stop with these shots...every time I see them they push me for another holiday (and I'm running out of days!!)...lol. Was there maybe fifteen years ago, but don't remember seeing the Matterhorn, maybe because of the brilliant sight into the other direction (Aletschgletscher, Eiger, Trugberg). Great shot Jan-Carel, keep them coming (gonna ask my boss for another few days...)

You know...i get exhausted just by looking at your shots. Youre like Forest Gump or something, but instead of running you go hiking. Much amazed by your determination and love for the outdoors. Excellent work....now keep walking...youre only half there, lol. Enjoy your weekend. #:O)
