Description

This one I dedicate to Philippe a.k.a. pimbotin, not only because this shot is made in your living-world, but especially concerning the clouds. You told me in your comments about those lense-clouds a few weeks ago while I did not realise that. This typical appearance showed up here clearly, lens clouds (Altocumulus lenticularis), announcing the change of weather! The next postings I hope to show you more of these clouds that were evolving on this day, so this entire Geneva-series will be like a movie, were you can see how an almost clear sky is becoming overcast. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 35 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

A rare capture of this lenticularis cloud which is most fasinating. We don't see this type of clouds shaping into a flying saucer very often. More so, you captured it with the most beautiful landscape around. Love naturals tree framing. Excellent. Aloha

Yes... we have so much to say about those clouds... especially for people flying. One thing I didn't say before: They are suspected to be the cause of a lot of "UFO's" reports made in the fifties. And when we look at some of them, we can understand why... Thanks a lot dear! Cheers!!
