Twilight Zones by TwoPynts

I appreciate the feedback you all gave me on Saturday's gallery image. It really helped me realize what it was about the image that appealed to me. I think Ray (rayburg) said it best when he described it as a dreamworld picture. Things are recognizable, but blurred and not quite tangible. Distorted from what we would normally expect to see yet still familiar. No ifos, it was an immediate success, I took quite a few of these photos before I got one I liked. Here are two more from my travels that night. These photos were taken just after sunset so I thought that sharky's description of the previous image made a good title for this one. More dreamy, not quite real, surrealality. ----- Thanks for stopping by and for your blurry comments on my last photo, Into the Night.

Ok! I hear voices when I see these, lot's of them and I get dizzy too! Brings me back to my "bong" days I guess. very nice and surreal.

Genial !
Digimon
Okay, I have seen the time exposure light thing before, but what really sets these apart (From the ones I've seen) is the ghostly figures walking through! I mean you can tell they are people, but that's about it, coupled with the exposure effect, it does create a dream-like quality!! Vwery cool!

These are so cool. Whenever ive "failed" a nightshot and got photos looking similar to these i have immidiatly trashed them. I have failed to see the potential to them since it wasnt what i was aiming for at the moment. Man how i wish i would have seen your work before i sent those photos to the eternal rest that is the trashbin..sigh. Most brilliant work buddy. And your title is perfect! Have a terrific day. #:O)

Beautiful! You've acheived your idea of a dream state quite well. I'm also a big fan of long, nighttime exposures for similar reasons, maybe I'll post one of mine some time. Love the eerieness of this one.
rayburg
Coool stuff Kort...the second pic makes me dizzy looking at it.

It is the kind of images I see when I am sleep walking! Oh, do I sleep walk with my eyes open? I guess, I see it in my mind. Whatever, these are the kind of blurry images that flit in and out of your mind when you sleep and cannot recall clearly in the morning, but you are just left with a feeling. Very well done.

Light, passing in time is a mere notion of reality....theirs or ours? Excellent Captures Kort.

I must say that the scenes are pretty weird, but I would like to know what you did here: effects are the result of a post work on PS or of some long different times of exposure?
DELMUR
love your work on the light! I agree with Ray , and its's the one i prefer!
Sekadhar

dragonfly2000
Yes, I see what you mean. These two and previous one, while a vaguely similar technique, are actually very different. For one your eye, or rather sense of design comes thru, also that sense of a dream world I certainly agree with! Very exciting and would love to see more, I'll have to make sure of paying attention in fact.

Wow! I have to try this. I can see where you would have to take a lot to get a few images you would like. Neat series Kort!

I like the second one very much. My only comment would be to do some colour correction.
