Hallucinatory Promenade by TwoPynts

This photo was shot several months ago but is in a similar vein to my last two gallery images. As with the others, postwork was only done to enhance what was already there, not to add any special effects. Handheld exposure for 1/2 second while walking, f2.4, 50ASA. How exactly the surreal and dreamy waves happened in the background of the photo I am not quite sure, but it is certainly one of those happy accidents. Combined with the grainy texture and movement of the central figure, it added up to something I found interesting enough to share. I took about 12 photos like this that evening. This is my favorite. And BTW, Happy Birthday Cynlee! You say this is how you see without your glasses, no wonder your photos are so interesting! :) ----- Thanks for stopping by and for your tenebrous comments on my last photo, Twilight Zones.

nice effects, indeed...

How odd, I was just comment on the previous shots! This is great, that sense of the momentary, an etheral vision, and great design. I too find those strange artifacts in these motion/time images to be amazing ~ just little gifts from the photo muse. That one red shoe that seems to spark light of its own - just all very cool.
Digimon
Did they have lights in their shoe? I love the Poe quote, one of my all time fav's!!! Great image! I do dream during the day, and there can be a down-side to it, as is evident in some of the bruises I have acquired! ; )
DELMUR

Much much better interpretation and result than the previous. And yes the light in the shoe sets it off nicely. KP ps. new happy face up!

Perfect combination of quotation and image. Has that element of mystery that I yearn for but is so hard to realise. Accident or not, it's a little gem! (Nice to see you took this with MY camera ;-)

He was so right (Poe)... he was so right. Another extraordinary creation! Bravo...
Zacko
Is he walking around with a light on his shoe? You took this with 1/2 second exposure...WHILE WALKING??? To even come up with such an idea is impressive. I too have to agree about those waves adding to the compo. Makes it look like some timewarp or something. Great one K! #:O)
Victoira
