Description

Well, the hut is still waiting for us but I start to lie down on the ground shooting this (controlled) glacier lake with the alpine willowherb (Epilobium fleischeri, closely related to the fireweeds you've seen before) in front of it. On the background you see the Turtmanngletscher (Turtmann Glacier). As you can see we have to go our way up to the left. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 28 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

Beautiful alpine flowers and a creamy looking lake! I have never seen a lake that looks quite like this before! :-) Still a long way to travel it seems but I enjoy each step of the way. :-) Very beautiful picture! :-) ++++
