Description

Left from the Brunegggletscher we can see the impressive snowcovered Bishorn (4135 m, 13566 ft), part of a range with mountains of more than 4500 m (almost 15000 ft) high. Unfortunately we cannot see these mountains from our current position (sorry, Wim). Fortunately there were some people, probably on their way to go all the way up to the Bishorn, who did not leave only their tracks in the snow, but they themselves were still visible as well, showing the size of these mountains. The inset is at 3200 DPI, the utmost I could get out of the slide. As you see, not all these moving dots are red.... Have a wonderful weekend! Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 200 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

LMAO!!! Im amazed that you even remember those figures after you have downloaded your shots to your computer. Cause you cant very well sit and look through them and say "aha..there they are"...cause theyre soooooo tiny!!!! I would have taken them for dust on the lens or something, lol. Am i up to 165 characters yet? I probably am so i shall just end by saying that this is a mighty fine photo with a stunning blue sky above some incredibly majestic snowcovered mountains. Have a terrific evening. #:O)

Another beautiful and spectacular shot, Jan-Carel. Thanks for the inset; I never would have seen the people otherwise, and it really sets the scale and shows how magnificent the mountain is.

If you hadn't shown the inset I would have missed those hikers. Even now when I look at the scale of the hikers, looks like dust on my monitor.....this scale is immense...Eye popping image here, a real winner JC! Aloha!
