Description

Although I posted in the forum a capture with blurred flowers I found one shot a little later that seemed to me a lot better (you may judge that for yourself). The edelweiss (Leontopodium alpinum) blooms in abundance on this spot, so it definitely pays off to crawl on the stomach.... For those interested I added some photographic tips in Turtmannh

They kinda look like daisies dont they? Only with subtler..er...subtle...or subteler...sigh...MORE SUBTLE...whatever...colors. Very beautiful photo divided into 3 "layers", foreground containing vegation, that snowy peak in the middle...and the beautiful blue sky in the "back". Yup..indeed a perfectly composed shot! Have a great sunday. #:O)

So that's an edelweiss. I remember them doing a song in 'The Sound of Music' about it. Is this flower only grown here? Funny that we've all had a moment of... 'crawling on our stomach' so we can get that perfect shot. :) Very nice POV. And thanks for explaining the 'red dot' to us foreigners.
