Description

Lisa and I were on a walk when we came across the sign (yes, it was prior to the 25th of December). After getting my laughter under control I snapped the above shot. Funny, but with all the controversy of using "Holiday" instead of "Christmas", I got a real kick out of seeing BOTH used on a public sign. Apparently the Promenade of Westlake wanted to be fair and not offend, and offend, equally. One other, commonly overlooked, point: the word "Holiday" is a shortening of the phrase "Holy Day". Just food for thought. -j.p. (Okay, now I have to try and stop laughing all over again!)
