Description

The descent back to the lake is easy and we still have some time to visit the Turtmanngletscher. Along the rushing melt-water of the Turtmänna we walk to the glacier, here still water and back there the stream of ice waiting for us. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 28 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comment

What an overwhelming, impressive and beautiful shot! Wow, almost an overdose of "nature". Thank you for sharing. Just what I needed, during these dark days without sunshine. Have a good day, J.C.!

This water looks like slush. and why shouldn't it? The artist is not confined by physical qualities of his media. It is not glacial milk or ice water anymore.

So lovely to see this rushing water. I love the color of the rivers and the lakes in mountain, with this strange blue. But brrrrrrrrrrr so cold.... lol ! Always a pleasure to see the Turtmannhte Jan-Carel. A very big Hug my friend.

Three states of the water, gas, liquid and solid get together in this picture, closing the cycle. I wonder if, in his eternal cycle getting up and down the mountain, Sisyphus also suffered of pain in his meniscus.....

I'd be tempted to drink the water, but am not sure it is as pure as I would hope it would be. I can almost hear the sound of rushing water and feel the cold air on my skin. Excellent view Jan-Carel!

I can just imagine all the little things that are being tossed around in that water. My imagination is working over time right now. Beautiful shade of water. I've never seen anything like that before. A stream of powder blue water. Cool. V
