Description
Dacort's free mermaid with Koz's wave hair on the left and Jim Burton's strip hair on the right.
The Pisces fish are not mermaids or any other anthopomorphic figures. They are fish. I thought that was rather boring, so I used mermaids :). The head-to-tail circle image commonly seen in zodiac representations bears no resemblence to the constellation. The constellation itself can be seen two ways: two fish leaping away from each other, or as two fish tied by their tails and hanging (if you see it upside down).
PISCES IN GREEK MYTH: The monstrous god Typhon was determined to overthrow Zeus and the other Olympian gods. One story tells the tale of the Love Goddess Aphrodite and her son Eros walking along a riverbank. They sensed the presence of Typhon, and quickly took the form of fish and plunged into the river to escape. To this day we see them as the Northern Fish and Western Fish of Pisces.

Kewl! You gonna do all the Zodiac???

I'd like to, but I can't because I don't have props for all the Zodiac signs. So I'm just doing constellations, some of which happen to be Zodiac signs. I forgot to note that this and Sagittarius as part of my "Constellations" series though (oops again!).

Nice Image. I like the concept & agree with the switch to Mermaids -- a couple of bass would have been pretty boring :)
