Description

"Forests, lakes, and rivers, clouds and winds, stars and flowers, stupendous glaciers and crystal snowflakes; every form of animate or inanimate existence, leaves its impress upon the soul of man." --Orison Swett Marden

Clouds are an ever changing natural wonder - they are never the same twice. One just has to look skyward to know that every day is a new day. This photo was taken several days ago as I was leaving work around 5:30PM. It was not quite sunset, but the wispy clouds were catching some pleasant, subtle colors. Happy Friday the 13th (Happy Birthday Lis!) and have a great weekend! ----- Thank you for your citrusy comments on my last upload, Key - Bearss - Ponderosa.

One of my favorites to look at also, always a treat for my eyes, and always different. Course most of the time our clouds are black and ready to rain here, but there are days like this...Nicely done Kort, that polorizer makes it stand out nicely! Aloha!

A pleasure to see these - the Oregon skies are mostly a ubiquitious grey during the long months of winter. Thanks for sharing this "uplifting" view! It helped to start my morning off nicely. :)

Thin feathers high up in the atmosphere (can be as sing of weather change), love to spot them! Gorgeous work, Kort! They will never be the same anymore, as unique as your capture is! :)

WHOA!!!! This is magnificent, Kort!!! so soft, dreamy, and reminds of Care-A-Lot!!! LOL! :) Is this the way the sky really looked? you didn't rotate the image? Wow! i love how you caught all the movement! amazing to see that! perfect timing!! the only suggestion i have would be to maybe try upping the contrast a bit and see what you think. but you might make this image pop by increasing the contrast. then again...i love it just the way it is! Excellent shooting, Kort!
