Description

Back to the muddy plain we can see the inlet of the melt-water rushing down over the rocks to the muddy plain. You can't see the mud here (the muddy plain is more to the right, not visible here), the water has deposited the pebbles that sink immediately close to the inlet, while the mud is carried a bit further until the water slows down. Tomorrow I hope to show the last one of this series. Have a wonderful Sunday! Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 70 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comment

Wow, this landscape is so surreal, almost like a render with VUE, Terragen, or other terrain modeling program. Nice contrasts in this one, and I love the flow of the water from top left to lower right in this composition. One of my favorites in this fantastic series for sure!

Although the view might be wonderous, walking in the muddy plain must not be much fun to cross. But it's a small price to pay for the beautiful images that is afforded to you...and us!! This has been such and beautiful view and very educational hike for me...thanks for sharing from your heart these lovely images for the world to see...Aloha!

Your pictures would look great in National Geographic. Have you ever given any thought to proposing a photo article about one of your treks? I'm serious, Jan-Carel. You are a great tour guide.

I agree with Buffalo1... maybe you should send them something? You never know. I've really enjoyed our trip up to the glacier. What a fabulous teacher you are. hugs V

This brings another frisson to my dark Glasweigan flat, Jan-Carel. I seem to have been so busy this last year. I cannot even view all the superb photos of my RENDEROSITY favourites. When I have the opportunity, however, I am always rewarded by some capture which strike a chord. Thanks, John.
