Description

Before I continue this series I skip one moment back to the Eggishorn-series (this series started at Eggishorn 1 - for Rita at October 27). For some reason I forgot to post this one, and now it seems the perfect moment to do so (actually I was searching for this one in my gallery but I discovered never having posted this picture yet). Looking down from the Eggishorn to the east we see the Marjälesee, a lake situated at 2348 m (7703 ft) and behind the ridge lies ... the Fieschertal (Fiesch Valley), with (more to the left) the Fiescher Gletscher on the left hand. A fantastic view on the lake and the glcier, I like the composition , the light with the shadows from the clouds!! Excellent photo (and an impressive nature!!)

I have only been this high before in an airplane, and for a plane this would be low altitude. But for a strong hiker like yourself to get this shot is just awesome...What a strong view from here...thanks for pointing out the details...Damn this is nice! Aloha!
