Hi Bev sorry not to be around life has just taken over again, as always a wonderful image I just want to curl up with inadequacy when I see your work. Inspirational as always I have been out photographing the rooks in flight today perhaps to make some brushes. Wonderful details in this, the eye and the light reflecting from the stone back onto the picture make this beautiful image.

Wow... your images is as wonderful (probably even more so) as they were when I left Render years ago - so great to be back and see such quality work - amazing as always!!

Better late than never, right? Very compelling title. Your style is in tact as always Bev. I won't pretend to understand your dilemma, if it is yours, but you conjure a few notions with this in the realm of conception once again.

This is in another league from all the usual stuff on Renderosty. It scarely matters whether it is "natural media" or "digital" because you clearly are able to create the most vivid image irrelevant of the media. It has the breath of life...

Don't worry about being late to comment on my last posts Bev, it's taken me 4 months to come back to you on this one! I guess it's the usual issue, not being able to put into words what such brilliantly subliminal work does to the viewer! Not sure about the drop shadow on the moth but I understand you deliberately made it like that. Whatever, hugest hugs from New South Wales to the old South Wales LOL!

...wonderful Trompe l'oeil arrangement of your fascinating repeating icons ...airey blue sky backdrop - for blackbird and moth - melding into soft textured, parchment-like background.....small details like red hair wisps falling slightly across foreground backbird is a nice touch. ( inconguent ! )
