Description
This is my first ever contest entry for 3d. of course I hope to win...the theme is "planet killers" This was the first thing that popped into my head. Everything was done in Max, except the text.

its ok but i dont get a sence of the size that the grey shere is supposed to be proJecting,the texture makes it look small and toyish,now i like the small sphere it looks great and i agree that the particule cloud looks great,i mightve picked a differant font also,that one looks a little to clean for the atmosphere of planet crunching,my two cents......... WG1

Thanks for the comments. the only particle system I used was for the crumbling planet. The particles that are being sucked into Unicron's mouth. Wareenlee1, I totally agree with you about the panel lines. I have been looking at it and saying "there is something not right." Now that you mention it, I think it may be that. I am basing this picture of a scene from Transformers the movie, and the panel lines on Unicron are rather large. Maybe my adaptation of them is a little too "toyish".

your unicron is'nt accurate,It looks really bad.Maybe you should change the name so people wont compare it with the actual unicron.I do see lotsa things that could be done to improve this image.I have some old Transformers comic here.Unicron's mouth is a whole lot bigger,and those things on his side are spikes.The circle around him is thicker and closer to the inner sphere.And from how I see it,I think Unicron is kinda shiny metal.He should be raytraced or applied with a texture map.Okay that's it,just my opinion.I hope I gave a helpful comment

Thanks for the comments. As I stated, I was basing this off of a picture from the movie, where the mouth is actually that small. Later in the movie, I believe that his mouth looks bigger, but I have not seen it since I was 12. I will definately take your suggestions, pureflesh.
