Description

A very easy render while I'm working on a couple of more intricate pieces. Great Hellcat model and texturing by UVDan. Rotating 3-prop propeller is a net freebie. Sorry don't remembe by whom. Pilot was a British RAF pilot from a www.Gunpoint.com aircraft model, which I doctored to look closer to a WWII US Navy pilot. Background picture is from www.imageafter.com. Isn't it wonderful? Thanks for looking! Now, back to the hard work! Jeremy

Nice render. Is it just my eyes or did the propellor fly off the hellcat in the rear?

The model is missing its distinctive chin inlet

Yeah, Rob, I believe you're right. Thought I'd corrected that. I'll fix. As to the distinctive chin inlet, there does not seem to be one, but I did not make the model. UVDan did.

Another suggestion: vary the aircraft numbers and kill markings. Looks like UVDan loosely based the markings on VF-6 ace Vraciu aircraft.
