Description

The huts have still to wait a bit.... Too many flowers attract my attention. Maybe a good reaon to get back my breath as well! :) Those huts are built in several ways, the older ones by using horsepowers or cables and the modern ones by using choppers. Once acclimatised to the harsh environment it is not that difficult to build a hut and usually Swiss builders build their houses in a way they can withstand bad weather very well. So I mentioned about the many flowers that are blooming here. Like this one, the mount cenis bellflower (Campanula cenisia) that blooms with many leafy rosettes around it. On these heights it's really at home, ascending elevations above 2500 meter they start to look better and better! Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 50 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

Cool photo..must be great hiking up there. Nothing like a nice shelter to look forward to when you are way out there in the elements. :-)

Hard to believe these grow so well at this altitude, they have the perseverance of a weed! These would look very nice in a basket of some sort...Well done! Aloha!
