Description

Part of a gum tree that Cassie and I came across on a bushwalk that we took yesterday afternoon. Rotated 200 degrees (so it's upside-down here) and cropped in Photoshop. To me the splintered wood suggests two birds merging... Thanks as always for taking a look, any feedback is appreciated :-)

like this one... well - two merging birds... it's funny... on the first glimpse i thought it's dead bird... i really love the colours... especially those in the background... this reddish wood... hugs

Thanks Christian hugs. The original "Epicentre" (taken at Catherine Hill Bay) involved a dead bird, so that's where the title came from here :-)

Love the different textures here...must be a really cool tree, although I don't see the 'dead bird' thing..good shot !

Thought you'd find these wacky gum trees good subjects. This is arboreal surrealism :-)
