Description

HMS Victory at anchor in port. I've spent the last few days tweaking the textures for Bryce. All comments and constructive criticism welcome. Thanks for taking a look :o)

Interesting POV, too. Almost looks like a photograph.

Couple of observations: she's not at anchor...the anchors are still catted to the ship. She appears to be floating free, no sails are set, (in fact a few sails are missing from the yards) no anchors are restraining the ship from swinging around with the tide. Also, there appears to be something missing from the stern, all the detail around the galleries (the windows) is missing. This isn't a bad render, just some details have been forgotten. Research, research, research. As an artist, always study the subject you are going to portray, whatever the medium, traditional or digital, especially if it is/was a real subject.....you're on the right track, needs work though.
